President and CEO, quite literally grew up in aviation. Sam was born in Wichita, Kansas while his dad owned Midwest Piper. He grew up in the Texas Hill Country surrounded by aircraft of all types. His passion for the business, as well as his desire to become a pilot himself, was well ingrained from a very early age. Sam has over 18 years experience in aircraft sales and aircraft management and is a former Vice President of Operations for Texas Aero. He is an active pilot and holds an ATP with ten jet type ratings in various Cessna Citations, Lear Jets, Challengers, Hawkers, Falcons, current CFII, MEI, AGI instructor's certificates and a seaplane rating. This extensive firsthand knowledge of a wide range of popular business jets allows Sam to accurately convey the strengths and weaknesses of specific aircraft to his clients to help guarantee the proper application for the mission. Aircraft management allows Sam to combine his passion for flying and drive for customer service.
Retired president and CEO, had been actively buying and selling aircraft for over 50 years. His vast experience lends both credibility and expertise to the company. Don served as an Officer in the US Air Force, has owned Midwest Piper (Wichita, Kansas), Houston Piper (Houston's Hobby Field), and 1st Texas Turbine Aircraft Corp. (Horseshoe Bay, Texas). In addition, Don has managed various turbine aircraft sales, maintenance, and refurbishment operations. Some of these positions include Sales Manager for AMR Combs Aircraft Sales Group (division of AMR Corporation in Dallas, Texas) and most recently, Texas Aero (Waco, Texas) as president of its Aircraft Group for over 12 years. Don is an accomplished pilot with several type ratings and instructor certificates. Don was born and raised in Austin, Texas and lived there until his enrollment in the U S Air Force Aviation Cadet program in January 1959.
Pilot for JETPRO Texas, native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been flying for over 45 years. He recently took early retirement from Delta Air Lines after 37 years as an international Captain to join with JetPro and continue his love of flying. He has come full circle to the type of flying he did before his airline career enjoying the varied missions of flying beautiful business jets. Ken is ATP rated with numerous type ratings, CFI, MEI, AGI. His experience over a broad range of aircraft and flying environments along with a commitment to safety help ensure safe, successful flights.
As the Office Manger Missy keep JETPRO Texas running smoothly. She holds a B.A.A.S. from the University of North Texas, with concentrations in non-profit studies, marketing and sociology. Prior to working at JetPro Texas, she was an administrative assistant and guest relations manager at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame for 6 years. Missy and her husband Matt have two wonderful daughters.
Director of Marketing and Research for JETPRO Texas. Deanna is a Graduate of Baylor's Hankamer School of Business with a BBA in Entrepreneurship, graduating Cumme Laude in 2007. Her aviation carrier adds to her outstanding past experiences including: founding, cultivating and selling a retail ladies boutique, serving on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, Waco, serving on the Board of Directors for Fuzzy Friends Rescue, Co-Chairing Fuzzy Friend’s black tie event – Bark’n Ball multiple years, Executive Board Member, Finance Board Member and Board Member at St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School, Treasurer of St. Paul’s Parents and Friends, Vice Chair and committee member of Waco’s Cotton Palace, and an impressive list of numerous appointments for the Junior League of Waco. Deanna’s proudest accomplishment is the distinctive title of MOM to Piper, Makenzie and Harrison.
Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, Hagan developed a passion for aviation at a young age. After graduating from Lubbock Christian High School, he moved to Waco for his flight training and to begin his aviation career. Hagan currently serves as a pilot for JETPRO Texas and is right-seat qualified in the Hawker 900 and Citation 500 series aircraft. His commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service helps ensure a positive experience for every client. Outside of aviation, Hagan enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing golf.
